Words cannot express the gratitude in my heart for those who have fought and fallen so that I can have the freedoms that I enjoy. I will remember.... Thank you!
Happy Memorial Day!
In the spirit of improving myself, I have started another blog. I have decided to keep this blog private because most of the content is personal and some of it embarrassing.
My new blog will be on the different areas of my life I am striving to improve on:
Physically, mentally and spiritually.
I would greatly appreciate any words of encouragement! So if you would like to be invited to my new, "exclusive" blog, and to help cheer me on, please give me your email address and I will send you an invite.
Thank you and much love! ~Clarissa
So, I've never claimed to be perfect. In fact, heaven knows I'm far from. Sometimes I let anger get the best of me and I let little "uh-oh" and "oops" words slip out. I'm at my worst when I'm driving... Sometimes I get a clear reminder that I need to watch what I say. Especially around my children. Today I had one of those reminders.
Ahnali was on the computer playing some games and was having some issues. David, being the excellent big bother he is, decided to help her. This is NOT what she wanted and as a result, began to scream. David, still trying to "help", grabs the mouse away from her and caused the screaming to escalate. My hands were busy, so I yell to Jay, "Daddy!!! Damage control!!!" And to this David responds, "Yeah Daddy! D@mn!t control!!!!"
Funny? Yes... Acceptable? No...
But I had a good giggle anyway.
Thank goodness that my children help me remember to try harder and be more conscious of what I should/should not be doing. ;)
